Cape Town-based model agency M1 Management has been operating for the last ten years. During that time, the agency has evolved into a force to be reckoned with in the modelling industry. This is due to a fantastic team of people and solid relationships with local and foreign clients and agencies.

DARJA O'DONNELL
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Of German descent, Darja started modelling at 16 and lived as a fashion model in London, Paris and New York for 13 years.
She has graced the pages of glossy magazines such as French, English and American Vogue, Elle and Cosmopolitan.
After a career spanning 20 years, her passion for the industry now extends to styling and photography.
During her free time she spends time at the beach with her two beautiful children, friends and doing yoga (just to keep sane!)

ZANE O'DONNELL
DIRECTOR
Zane worked for 12 years as a fashion model in Milan, Paris, London and New York. After spending a further 3 years at Fashionfile.com in London, he started his own agency and moved to Cape Town to head up the team at M1, where he has been for the past 5 years.
Zane's 'time out' time consists of surfing, yoga and spending time with his wife and kids.

With a background in advertising and PR, Leah joined the M1 team ten years ago. Now Head Booker, she's seen the agency grow from strength to strength.

BOOKER
Cynthia 'darling' Jali has been on the Main Board booking desk for the last five years. She loves dealing with models and clients and the feeling is totally mutual! She likes travelling and her spare time consists of spending time with her 2 beautiful girls, chilling with friends and her Savana!!

BOOKER
With a hospitality background, Nicole brings with her international experience, having worked at New York Agency One Management.
"Our model relationships we have are genuine, which is vital. Remember, everyone smiles in the same language."
That being said, Nicole also speaks fluent German and French!

JAN FOURIE
FINANCIAL MANAGER
Jan joined the M1 team with a ten year background in accounting and taxation. Jan is a practical type of person who gets the job done without losing sight of detail.
"I am extremely passionate about my job and the M1 team."
In his free time he enjoys travelling into Africa and partying with friends!
